MCLEAN COMMUNITY FOUNDATION LAUNCHES WEB SITE
www.mcleancitizensfoundation.org reaches out to community with information and online application for MCF funding
McLean, VA - June 10, 2004 - The McLean Community Foundation (MCF), charitable arm for the community, will premier its new web site on Tuesday, June 15th at www.mcleancitizensfoundation.org. MCF encourages the public to visit the site and learn more about MCF's goals and achievements.
MCF President (Ret) Major General Ira "Jim" Hunt said, "This is a great day for the Foundation. We're very proud to have a professional web site that will help us spread the word about MCF. The more people who know about us, the more good we can do."
The site, the first for MCF, addresses the charitable works of the 501(c)(3) organization and lists the grants to date that have been funded for the betterment of the community and its citizens. The site delves into the history of MCF and provides an online grant application to encourage groups to apply for funding. The site also provides a link the McLean Citizens Association.
