A Message from the MCF Board of Trustees

Please take the time to explore our site. On it you can meet the Trustees and learn about our Foundation's history. You can become familiar with the grants we've made since 1981, the grants process and how to apply for them. Hopefully, you will want to support the ongoing work of the MCF. We want you to find our website useful and informative and to use our links to discover all of the ways that this Foundation is helping to support, improve and enhance the greater McLean community.

One goal of the MCF Board of Trustees is to increase its ability to make grants by expanding our donor base. As an all volunteer board with no employees and very little overhead, we are able to efficiently and effectively put our financial resources to work for the benefit of McLean. The McLean Community Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) charity. Your contributions to MCF are tax-deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law. And ... your charitable donations remain right in your own community.

The Foundation Board of Trustees strives to be responsible stewards of these resources and we look forward to working with the community to build a better future for McLean.
